Polymeric Material Failure Consultants (PMFC) Ltd is a company established to provide materials and engineering expertise in the field of non-metallic material and component failure investigation.

Our core experience is in the Oil & Gas sector where advanced materials are often used at the limits of their capabilities. However, we also apply the same level of scrutiny to failures occurring in other sectors.

We provide a rigorous systematic root cause failure analysis service for technically advanced and highly regulated industries, where the failure of non-metallic components can have significant safety, environmental and operational consequences.

Using our knowledge and experience, we are able to confirm material identification against design specification, to verify the environmental compatibility of materials, to document and characterise the extent of any damage and to understand the influence of these factors on functional performance and reliability.
